Helix Hacks II Offical WebsiteWe love inspiring!
Helix Hacks is a hackathon designed to inspire and empower young coders to pursue and develop their programming skills. Over the course of 30 hours, teams up to 4 participants will work to develop a software project that helps to solve a real-world problem.
Due to quarantine, we have converted to an online hackathon so that our participants still have the same opportunity to learn and explore. We guarantee the same amount of fun, experience, and opportunity despite the hackathon being virtual.
THEME: COVID-19 Pandemic
As everyone knows, one of the most popular global issues currectly is the COVID-19 pandemic. For this reason, we have themed our online hackathon on the global crisis. You can create anything that would relate to and help the pandemic. Some ideas are listed below. *Note: it is NOT mandatory to follow our theme but we stongly suggest that you do.

Design a program or application that informs people about the pandemic - increases/decreases on number infected cases, popular cases and locations, shows populated areas at live time.
Design a program or application that helps maintain health during the pandemic - how to stay safe, how to maintain mental health, how to exercise, what to do if infected? There are many more.
Design a program or application that helps provide entertainment during quarantine. A video game, ideas of quarantined activites, a way to connect with friends, a artificial friend to keep company? These are just ideas.
Design a program or application that helps people obtain material they need safely. Infected packages prevention protocol, a delivery system, safe replacement ideas simulator? This is an important issue.
